Bicycle-Sharing Service Starts In Wuhu

On March 15, 2017, OFO launched its bicycle-sharing service in Wuhu. In the coming 30 days, over 1,000 to 1,500 bicycles will be constantly redistributed around the city every day. It is expected that 30,000 “yellow bikes” will be put into operation in one month. Wuhu is also the second city in Anhui province to have this fad.

Compared to the existing open-station public bicycles, OFO is more convenient for users renting and returning without picking up a member card or finding nearby stations. Riders only need to pay a deposit of 99 yuan($14)by cell phone and checking out the bike by 1 yuan per hour. When finishing up with your ride, just return the bike to anywhere in public. The deposit will be refunded at any time if riders want to stop the experience. Riders may get free-riding coupons if they share the riding experience on Moments.

The first 30,000 ofo bikes are mainly distributed on populous neighborhood like Pedestrian Street, New Times Commercial Street, Wanda Plaza, College Town, Central Town residential area, Phoenix Food Street. Taking the comprehensive transport conditions and commuting habits into consideration, OFO is going to totally distribute 100,000 bikes in Wuhu.

OFO is a nationwide cycle sharing system for short-term use. It is the newest transit system connecting the city. Since June 2015, OFO has distributed 1.5 million bikes with repeated uses totaling to 400 million in China. More than 40 cities have this system and over 25 million users have signed up. It has been the No. 1 bike share operator with the biggest amount of sign-up users in the country. OFO is available 24/7,365 days a year. Wherever you see them, scan the ride code, have the fun of riding.
